I recently read in the September 2006 issue of "Cards" (from Scrapbook Trends) that you can customize your embossing powder by dyeing it. Does anyone know how this is done? I have a million and one projects this application could be used for. Thanks
Hmmm the only thing that I've ever heard about dying your own is putting alcohol ink in the powder. WARNING!!! You have to let the alcohol dry out before using since it's very flammable. You could probably do the same stuff with most reinkers. Don't know about craft though I bet that would make a mess. I've been known to toss glitter or pearl ex in my powders to give them extra shine. The best way to store them if you still have any are film canisters.
