Question Dazzling Diamonds--Need help!

Has anyone used the Dazzling Diamonds embossing powder? Can't tell when it's been heated enough. Guess I overheated it at one spot, because the glitter disappeared & it just looked flat. Wondering if there's info somewhere about using Dazzling Diamonds. TIA!:???:

where did you get dazzling diamonds ep? what i have from su! is just glitter, and i either use glue to put it on, or heat and stick powder? if it truly is ep, and it's disappearing on you, your heat gun may be too close to the powder. try using it on dark paper to see the effect. i had a problem with hologram highlights. you can't see the true effect of it on light color card stock. hope this helps!

Are you referring to iridescent ice or hologram highlights EP? If you overheat any embossing powder, it will actually melt into the card stock and lose it's shine. Only heat until all of it is shiny. Keep moving your heat gun around so you don't overheat.

You can mix the Dazzling Diamonds with Clear embossing Powder and call it Dazzling Emb Pwdr... LOL.... that's how I do it... goes a long way and very sparkly... about 1/2 and 1/2 on whichever unit of measurement you use.

It does sound like you've just mixed up what Dazzling Diamonds is. Don't worry, lol, I've done that MANY times! It's not embossing powder, just glitter. You need an adhesive to hold it. You can get embossing powders with glitter mixed in, or you can mix your own. I ADORE Dazzling Diamonds all by itself though.
