diy scrapbooking is the greatest. my kids hate it, because I watch scrapbooking, then I get online and come here...diy has the greatest templates and ideas...they are primarily for scrapbooking, but most can be used for cards with just some minor adjustments and creativity!!

I Tivo this show, too! And Carol Duvall sometimes. Well, I tivo her and then read the show description and only watch if it sounds interesting.

But I watch Scrapbooking all the time. And the funny thing is I've never made a single scrapbook page in my life. But I will! Someday. And I will, of course, journal in my own handwriting! ;)

Have y'all watched the cardmaking show in the afternoons? I don't remember the name. The host is a bit stiff and annoying, but they have some cool techniques and ideas.

Default Embellish This!

I have seen that show...only once...she was embellishing evening gloves, and I felt that they were HIDEOUS! I didn't realize she did cards too. I quit watching when I saw what she did to those poor defenseless gloves. I'll give it another try though. Any idea what time it comes on?

cardmaking show? are you talking about Greetings from DIY with Joy MacDonnell(sp?)? I like that show - gives some good ideas, too.

I am hoping that even though Carol D. won't be making anymore new shows, they'll keep repeating the old ones - it's so inspiring and I love to watch it.

Embellish this and the jewelry making show drive me nuts!! Their voices really do grate on my nerves.

Oh yeah, nerve grating indeed. I have to change the channel when I hear Jewelry Making or Embellish this come on! Ewww, can't stand either one.

I WILL miss Carol D. and many of her great guests and ideas, but I will NOT miss those sock monkeys or the endless polymer clay projects. NIMO! (Not in MY oven)

The greeting card show comes on at 3;30.. Just saw it advertised. I don't think I have seen much of it. I think my kids are normanlly home from school at that time. Oh, well, its summer..... Lots of time now.. All I need is one more show to me hooked on...

OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The jewlery lady_____Jackie Gerea (SP)! Uck!!!!! You can tell what channel my tv stays on all day! The only host of any of these shows that I really like is Carol, the rest all get on my nerves, including Sandy! But I do like all the topics. I think I am just craft crazy!!!

Sandy Genovese (spelling is wrong, I know) needs an updated do! I can't stand her matted, permed hair. She is an attractive lady--get with the decade! That is so 80's-awful.

Keep Carol Duvall---Sock monkey be GONE! I also hate him!

Default greetings from diy

I just watched greetings from diy. The host drove me nuts, but the cards were nice. Glad I don't have to give Embellish This another go!! I think we should volunteer to be hosts for these shows. Maybe we could find one of us whose voice wouldn't be so unbearable!

Totally agree with you on this one. I also agree about the Jewelry show. I tried to watch it a few times, but the lady drove me nuts. Too bad I don't have closed captioning, that would be the way to see it.
