I recently saw a card that stated it was done using the Faux Vellum technique. I couldn't tell enough about the card online to figure out exactly what this technique is. Could someone point me to some directions? TIA!!

kimilou, I think tara meant she is 'subscribing' to this thread. Sorry, I don't know what Faux Vellum is either. Maybe someone will enlighten us soon!
Many blessings, Stormy

Sometimes tracing paper is referred to as Faux Vellum. It's cheap and quick, but has a way different texture. I use tracing paper from a little kids' tablet. Here is a card that I just now remembered to upload, thanks to your question. Thinking of You
But, I am not sure what faux vellum technique is. But this card, Faux Breeze, mentions using baby oil on light colored cardstock. Maybe you could send her a PM to get more specific instructions

Thanks Stormy. The card I had seen it on didn't appear to have any layers so it made it hard to figure out. Thanks! This should help me!!
