Default Flocking

I have a new customer who said she had gotten an old stamping technique book and it had flocking in it. She does a lot of animal stamps and is very interested in this. Well, I am at a loss, I have no idea what that even is. Has it been a stampin up item that is discontinued? Where can she get it? Thanks so much for any information!!

It was in last year's catalog, but they dropped it this year. You used the Heat & Stick powder or a gluestick to apply it. It makes things fuzzy. I think it even came in different colors like white and brown, maybe yellow.

Your local stamp store probably has some.

Flocking is most commonly used when making model cars - it is used to cover the seats and interiors. Try a hobby shop that specializes in models or that section of any hobby store. There is someone in the buy/sell/trade foum that has many colors also - I remember seeing that a few days ago.

Default flocking

Wanted to let you know I have some flocking that I had gotten at a sale. I kept some of every color for myself, shared it with stamping buddies and I'm trying to clean out the stamping space... So i'm starting by getting rid of duplicates..

The colors I have left are turquoise, Santa red, dark green, pale pink, black (only 1 left), grey, grass green, mustard yellow, deep burguny red and a ceramic clay pot color...

They are bagged about 3 huge spoons per bag (a bit over twice what SU used to sell for $3-$4) and I am selling it for $1.00 a bag. And $1.00 for shipping (if you buy 1 bag its $1 shipping or if you buy 10 bags it's still $1 shipping)....

Here is one place you can get it:
http://kraftyatkrafts.zoovy.com/resu...ords=fun+flock

Just do a search for fun flock to compare prices. I use yellow ff on my ducks, brown ff on my bears, pink or purple ff on a stamp with an old lady wearing big fuzzy slippers. It makes everything furry or fluffy. I love it.

We used to love doing flocking at workshops. Of course we would make all sorts of jokes about how long it had been since anyone had flocked...
