Question "Frosted" Glossy CS Technique?

Recently saw a card in the gallery - summer mini - "Along the Shore" - Frosted Beach which used the "frosted" technique. Can anyone share this with me? Thanks in advance -
Beth

Hi Beth,
atgiblin included the instructions a few posts down in her gallery for that card. I've copied them here for you.

"Frosted: crumple waxed paper twice. Brayer color onto the wax paper. Put inked waxed paper face to face with glossy white CS. Brayer over the top.

I've also put on 2 and 3 colors. You need fresh waxed paper for each color. I have not had success by putting multiple colors on the same sheet of waxed paper. It gets too muddy that way.

Creamy Caramel and Close to Cocoa gives a leather look."

Also a similar technique is known as wax paper resist and there's a great tutorial in the resources section. Here's the link to get you there....

This sounds so neat - I'm going to have to try it!
