I've heard something about using this. what do you use it for? I saw somwhere that it was mixed with pearl ex, but what for? I would love the hear of some of the uses for this. TIA

Folks fill their Aqua painters with it. THen dip it in Pearl Ex and paint with it. The floor wax seals it so you don't have to spray it. Here's one I did recently.
Thant is my question too. What can the aqua painter be cleaned with so that it does not get gunked up?
No need to clean it off. Mine never gunked up. I've had it filled for well over a year (you can tell by how old this thread is  ) and I just checked it. It's still wet and very fluid. I've never had to clean it out. It's never gunked up. I think as long as you keep the lid on it you can avoid the gunk. ;)
Is it important to use only Future floor wax?
Thanks
Daisy
Future is actually an acrylic floor finish and contains no wax. So I would guess that if you used another acrylic floor finish you would get similar results, but I'd go with the tried and true.
I would like to know too if you need to use just one aqua painter for the floor wax or can it be cleaned???
I am familiar with Future because I use it with my Polymer clay all the time. If I were to use it in an aqua painter, I would do what is suggested with the use of bleach in aqua painters: I would not KEEP the future in the painter, but fill it when I was going to use it and then rinse it out after use. It is water soluable(if I remember right) but will gunk up the bristles if you let it dry in there.
I need to find my bottle of Future. I hope that I didn't get rid of it in an insane cleaning moment...

Just how many days until vacation?Who'da thunk 18 Kindergarteners would be this tiring!
The cards she did were stunning. She said she just rinsed out her aqua painter well and it was fine to use again with something else. Love this technique. Can't wait to try it.

I got my bottle for Future floor cleaner from Shaw's. Can't believe it was ~$8! Does it come in a smaller size than that? I've never heard of it before....hmmmm, maybe I should clean more often. Nevermind, I'm sticking to stamping. I though Beate's tutorial was awesome, I don't know how she comes up with all of this--so awesome!!
Hey!!! Guess what? I know that this thread is ancient but I just wanted to let you guys know that I am getting ready to use the Pearl Ex for the first time after having it for months!!! I am new to this site and saw this thread about Future floor wax and I went to Walmart like white on rice and grabbed it!! I am insanely excited!!! I am excited because I have both Series 1 and 2 of Pearl Ex and I can actually USE them! Thanks sooo much for this! I am HOOKED to this site now and forever will be!
