Help - can't get ink to dry

I stamped some ceramic mugs with white craft ink and it won't dry. It has been a week now. I'm sure some of you smart people will have an idea. I tried heating with heat gun. Thought maybe spraying with an acrylic sealer may be my only hope. Thanks for any help.

Haven't tried it on a ceramic mug, but on things I haven't been able to get craft ink to dry (like vellum), I used clear embossing powder and then heat set it.
