It is going to work like stampin on glossy cardstock. Both will take sometime to dry and a bit harder to stamp without smearing. I would use Craft if you have it only because you get a more vibrant color, especially near the "joints" of the pieces, and I don't think it tends to "shift" on the puzzle (glossy cardstock) as much as Classic ink does.
I used classic ink on mine & hit it with the heat gun quickly, it worked just fine. I did sand the puzzle lightly first, it helped the ink go on & stay on better. Hope that helps. PM me if you have any questions.
