Default How do I use my Carl Cutter to cut lots of CS?

I just got a Carl Cutter dc-210 and can only get it to cut 2 sheets of cardstock at a time...do I need to make an adjustment?

Thanks, Anne

If the model you received has the arm that locks down on the cardstock, put in however many sheets it will hold, lock the arm down, and then pass the blade back and forth until it has cut through all the cardstock. You have to make several passes, depending on how many sheets you're trying to cut.

I have been impatiently waiting to use my Carl Cutter. I don't have anything that I need to cut multiple sheets for yet. Good to know that tip. I would have been really disappointed if I had tried and not been successful. Thanks!

Hhmmm...... interesting. I hadn't heard that in any of the discussions about it. Oh well. I still love it. I don't have any workshops or classes scheduled until Jan 9th. I guess I could go ahead and get ready for that now just so I can play with it.

Hmmm...

I hadn't heard that either. I got one for Christmas also!!!!!

I specifically asked for one to help me prepare for Stamp Camps, less cutting. But I thought that I could cut several sheets with just one pass.

I guess it will still save time, but I have to say I am a little disappointed.

Default Carl Cutter

I just purchased the basic Carl cutter...29.95 at Staples....is the arm supposed to lock down and stay down?
