But can anyone tell me what exactly a flip flop card is?

hhmmmm...other than looking at the card, not sure what else to say. Let's see. When the card is "closed", you see the image in the middle. As you "open" the card, the middle image flips over and you see a different image. I hope that helps!

Do a search looking for "exact words" (or whatever the 2nd option under the words you enter is). I did this earlier, and you will find a thread with directions in it.

It is all in how the card is cut and scored. I have an accucut template that I use to cut and score these so they are perfect everytime.

Here is the template someone made here on the website and shared with us. You cut on the solid lines and fold on the dotted. I put one image on one side of the square and the verse on the other side. Then when it flips you read it!
