Default I need some help with a can...

I found these cute cans in the dollar section at target and thought they would be fun to try and cover. But since they are not straight like a paint can I am having trouble coming up with a pattern for the paper. Has anyone done this and have any advice for me? I tried to stamp on them with staz-on but my hand is to shakey and it smeared. tia

I haven't stamped on those cans (if they are the same ones I'm thinking of) But, I replaced the ribbon and then made cute tags. I'm planning on repainting one as soon as I can decide on a color and then see what kind of things I can do from there.
