Default Ink on my Yoyo yellow stamp pad

Help!! Last night I let my daughter and her friends stamp. They had a blast! Anyhow, when they were finished I looked at my yoyo yellow pad, and it was a mess. :( Even though they had cleaned the stamps before reusing some of the old ink ended up on the yoyo yellow. Does anyone know how to get the colors off of the stamp pad? Maybe I am over reacting and this is not going to be a problem. Please let me know.

Thanks,
Darlene

I heard someone say one time that you could just wipe off the top of your stamp pad with a baby wipe and it would clean off the unwanted ink stains. Good Luck!

Actually, that's the best way to clean your stamps of the old ink. There is something in the yellow ink that makes it clean off the black stains on the stamps.

I would recommend buying another yellow for stamping and keeping this one for cleaning your stamps.

You are seeing the magic of YoYo Yellow in action. I have not tried it yet, but word has it from many SCS-ers, that YoYo Yellow will remove Basic Black from the rubber like magic (mostly when new, not old dried-on stains). I think many SCS-ers have gone a bought a new YoYo Yellow pad just for this purpose.

I don't know if this helps your current situation, but it at least explains why it happened, and why it may happen again!

I have stamped black on bliss blue by accident. Now you can still see the stain somewhat, but the ink has not been effected. So try the yellow and see...it might work just fine! YOu could always put on a little reinker if it does not seem so yellow.

I was told that you could spray stampin mist on your ink pad and take a paper towel to blot out the color. Don't know if it really works, but others say it does.
