Default Lumiere ideas??

A customer asked today what to do with Lumiere and I realized I hadn't used it in a year or more. What are your favorite techniques using Lumiere? Off hand the only one that came to my mind was Mother of Pearl. Thanks for your ideas..........Laura

You can also mix them with Classic reinkers and use them as a pearly paint. Looks great for a sunset or other background.

I like to do the faux mother of pearl with it. Put some luminere on a plate, or whatever, and wad up a piece of plastic wrap and dab it into the lumiere and spareingly put it onto glossy cardstock and let dry. Then take a sponge and pick up some classic ink from you pad and sponge over the dried lumiere. Really pretty. (the reason not to get too much lumiere on the cs is so the color comes out in between the dabs)

Lumiere was a "Way to use it Challenge" a while back. Check out this thread for ideas:

I love using these on old cd/dvd discs, sponge on a base colour, when dry sponge a 2nd & 3rd colour until you are happy with the blending. When dry stamp your image/ words on with black ink then colour in image with H2Os.
When dry these can be glossed and mounted on a card base. Everyone loves these.
