Default Making Cardstock Frame

Can anyone give me the instructions to cut a cardstock frame using the paper trimmer - like the one pictured in Beate's tutorial for shaker cards? Thanks!

I don't know what kind of cutter you have, but if you have one like the current style or the old style in the SU IBC it's real easy. Just cut out your frame for like 4x6 (or whatever size you need). Then decided how much border you want, for example let's say a 1/2"... Now lay your cardstock on your cutter at 5.5" (horizontal) then bring your blade down (vertically) to 1/2" and cut down to 3 1/2" and stop. open your cutter and turn cardstock repeating leaving a 1/2" border and the inside of your cardstock will just pop out leaving a frame! I hope that helps!

I am going to have to try this... I didn't think that the corners would look good if I tried it that way!

Kransom, thank you. This seems so easy that I'm now almost embarassed to have asked! Yes, I have the new style cutter so I'll give it a whirl. Many thanks!
