Take 5 envelopes
1) Place 1 on table pocket facing up (so front cover smooth side) tail out to RHS
2) Stick down into pocket tail of envelope 2 (Smooth side up, pocket side down) fold across to LHS. You can now see new pocket and tail of first envelope.
3) Stick down into pocket, tail of envelope 3 (smooth side up, pocket side down); just like step 2, and fold across to LHS. You can now see new pocket and tail of first envelope.
4) Stick down into pocket tail of envelope 4 (smooth side up, pocket side down) just like step 2, and fold across to LHS. You can now see new pocket and tail of first envelope.
5) Take the tail of first envelope and stick it into THAT POCKET!
6) Take the final envelope and this time pocket facing you, with tail pointing out to the LHS (smooth side down) and using glue, adhere the tail into pocket of envelope 4.
You now have a smooth front and back with loads of pockets. Enjoy.
I would like to check the website listed in the #2 post for the RubberStamp Club, but it doesn't work. Did anyone have luck getting into it and if so, what is the website?
I needed a visual - found this website - hope it helps anyone else. Now I've got another neat thing for a stamp camp. That and my hundreds of legal pads!
Thanks for bringing this idea to my attention!
I can't seem to get this link to work. Any help would be appreciated....
Get your 5 enevelopes lay them in front of you.
number them 1 to 5 left to right.
Have 1 and 2 with the envelope flap facing left and have 4 and 5 with the envelope flap facing right.
take 1 and 5, slip 5's flap into the opening of 1 until the enevelope edges match. both pockets are open and 1's flap will stick on the back of 5.
Take take 3 and have the flap facing left and slip into the open pocket of of 5. (it will look like a book and very slimilar to how you started.)
Next take 4's flap and stick to 3's open pocket.
Next take 2's flap and stick into 1's pocket.
Then you are finished. If you want to add more pages just keep sticking them into open pockets.
Then decorate.
Just an FYI, I used the scalloped envelope die from SU to create one of these, and it really came out cute! Think it will make a great brag book for a friend. I actually used cardstock which made it very sturdy.

Oooohhh! Great idea! Do you have pics to share?? :-D
Just put one together in maybe 1/2 a minute using your simple directions. Thanks so much!
