When something like a flower with a stem is stamped in 2 different colors, is that always done with markers or is there another option? I'm considering getting Easy Elegance but wonder if that means I'd need markers for it.
Markers or watercorcrayons will work. They each give a different look. Ask your demo about doing a marker club that way you don't have to buy them all at once.
I have also done some with masking instead...more work though! i have used cheap markers but the colors are not going to match or may not even coordinate.

I have Easy Elegance, but no markers. I just use the corner of the pad to ink the flower/stem seperately. You can make due until you can get the markers!!
Find three friends who want to go in with you on getting the markers. Each month (or however often you want to order), each of you pays 1/4 of the cost of a full set. You keep one color family of markers, and take turns getting the box. When you're done, everyone has a full set of markers with the case!

I was not the one who thought of cutting certain stamps apart and mounting separately. I learned it here!
You can do that with some of the word/image sets, too. Like Little Hellos or Greetings Galore. It makes it alot easier!
