This is my very 1st acetate attempt! The only part that really got to me was the....fingerprints!!! For my next acetate card, I need to get some good fitting rubber gloves to eleminate the fingerprints!
For the card front, I used the "Flowers" clear stamps by Rhonna Farrer and my black Brilliance ink pad. The scalloped circles were designed by me and cut with my CraftRobo as was the "Happy 49th Birthday Sharon!" (I also heat embossed the "happy birthday" with clear embossing powder). The little flower was punched twice and sculpted and I used Stickles Crystal in the center. The ribbon is "Poly Fleur" by Offray.
On the inside the white flower was cut with my CraftRobo from a file designed by Doris, @ UKScrappers. There are like five layers, sculpted using my embossing tool and then glued together. I used my Stickles Crystal in the center. The beautiful white linked flower frame was designed by MaryAnne, @ UKScrappers, using the Saru Flower Ding and was cut using my CraftRobo ("Roberta"). I used some vellum adhesive to ahere it and it barely shows thru on the other side. The silver text on the black scallop, right side, was actually written by my CraftRobo using a gel pen! The decorative closure flap on the back of the evelope was made using my Cuttlebug and the "Fancy Corners" embossing folder. After I ran it thru the "Bug", I rubbed Brilliance Moonlight White pigment ink onto it and then used my heat gun.
I love my "Roberta" (CraftRobo) and my "little bug" (Cuttlebug)!!!!
WOW!!! The whole ensemble is WONDERFUL!!!
You're so creative. This is fantastic work. TFS!!
Will you please post what kind of acetate you used and where you found it? I bought some at Staples and although it wasn't cheap, it is very flimsy. It was packaged in a sealed box so when I got home and opened it, I was VERY dissapointed! A card made from it would never stand up. I can't afford to buy various brands/types to get a good sturdy acetate.
Thank you and may God bless, Sandi

Hi Stormy!
Thanks for your comments. I actually used some Avery Ink Jet Transparencies (8.5"x11") that I purchased from Walmart years ago, thus my "Title" acetate/trans. It is my understanding that the acetate is a bit thicker, but I really did not have any trouble getting the card to stand up. I guess the weight of the cardstock, etc., used in the entire project probably helps. I did not want to plunk out money for acetate until I practiced for a while, because God knows, there is a ton of items I need to buy to support my addiction!!!LOL
This is absolutely gorgeous! I love how the white circle of flowers looks with the black flowers on the front. You have inspired me to try one of these clear cards. Great job.

Your card is beautiful! But I've never heard of CraftRobo. What is it?
Thank you Eve! The CraftROBO is a digital cutter that hooks up to my computer and I can cut anything that I "trace" using the software, plus it will cut any true type font that I have on my computer from about 3/8" to 7.5". I'm sure you have probably heard of the Cricut. The difference is that with the Cricut you have to keep buying cartridges for it and with my CR, I don't. There is also the Wishblade. Silhouette and the Pazzel. These particular cutters will not cut chipboard or fun foam. There are other, more expensive machines that will do that. One of them is the KNK Element and I am planning on getting one soon.
