Default Ok, thaaat's it!!!!!!

That's it! I've had it! I've seen what looks like stamping on labels and I'm just not sure how to do it!! Is it stamped several times & then layed out?? Or is it even stamped before being layed out? How'd they do that???? I just don't get it! Please help if you can . . . I'm losing it!

Hi Yolanda! Label stamping is really easy. You just stamp on your labels, before you peel off. Make it all pretty by coloring etc. Then, when you go to mount your labels on the cardstock, you sort of only half peel them off, so that the tops of the label are off the backing, but the bottom is still on the backing. Then you lay them onto the cardstock & press them down as you're removing the backing.

Hope that's what you were looking for!

Why not email the link to yourself? That way you'll have it when you get home.

One other thing regarding labels that I didn't realize the first time I tried it...

I thought people stamped on the label sheet (like full 8.5x11 sheet with 3 columns and 10 rows) and then spaced them out. Not so, apparently.

My demo used a sheet that had only 5 labels on it and there was about 1/4 inch of space between each label.

We stamped on those and then did the "half-peel" to transfer them, all straight, to our CS.

I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Because that would have been too easy! I do have several "Duh" moments! LOL Actually, I was really in the midst of getting ready to give the ACT test tomorrow for the first time, and my brain was fried. That manual is redundant!

Anyway, thanks for the tip. I'll try to remember it next time!

How come you "half-peel" them?

This way you will be able to keep them in a straight even line. Otherwise, you would have to try to line them up and space evenly. HTH!

Does anyone have any samples of this? I'm having a "blond" moment and for the life of me can't begin to picture what this looks like. And I know once I see it, I'll have to try it!!! TIA

I'm curious too as to what you are talking about. Is it the mosaic look you are trying to do?

If you search the gallery under labels it gives you a lot of wonderful ideas.

I am such a dork. I have always struggled to get the labels evenly spaced. Duh! Half peel, baby. Oh I love you ladies. I'm having a blond hi-light moment...

I checked out the link you provided, CrabbyAbbe. In one of your comments, you made something SO clear! You said peel about half ONE ROW AT A TIME. Thank you! I was wondering how you peeled all of the labels half way and still got the to line up all in one fell swoop. I get it now! duh.....

I'm anxious to try this.
