Default Pearl Ex and Future Floor Way question

Ok, I've mixed pearl ex with the future floor wax, however, it stays chunky, it doesn't mix together well. Am I doing something wrong???

Sorry to break this to ya,

I've never done it this way. I just put the wax into the aquapainter (not the PE)

Just pick up the PE with the tip and paint with it.

You don't mix it together.

Ok, let's say I only have 1 aquapainter right now, so if I wanted to do this technique, would I dip a paintbrush into the wax then the pearl ex? or ???

Yes, If you don't want to take the water out of your aquapainter and put wax in it, then you could use a paintbrush ... dip in wax and then in PE.

I've switched between water and wax in my aquapainter just fine.

I didn't think you could switch between water and wax; thought you had to designate it solely for wax. But thanks for the input!

I went to several stores and couldn't find Future Floor "Wax" but did find Future Floor "Finish". It mixes well with Pearl Ex and turns out really shiny.

Is the wax "safe" for use in scrapbooks? Does anyone know if there's anything acidic in there?

Thanks for you input.

The Future Floor Finish works for me. Thats what I've been using. I don't know why everyone calls it "Wax" although, really, that's what it is.

I don't know about scrapbook safe. I've never used it in a scrapbook yet.
Sorry I can't help you there...
