Default photo cube

i am planning a photo cube for my hubby for f/d...i got the cube at target, they are like paper cubes, in the instructions is says to use doubel sided tape to 'glue' the decorative papers to it....

my question is, and i saw this somewhere so maybe i am not making this up in my mind and someone else saw it too....;) there is a spray you should use to 'preserve' the pictures you put on it so they do not get 'damaged'.....

some one knows what i am talking about??? i hope it is not something i am making up!

thanks!

I'm interested in making a photo cube and have seen cubes that were not covered and some other cubes that seemed to be in an acrylic cube. Which is better to use? Where do you find the cubes? Can we just go to Home Depot and some wood to cut into cubes and cover with paper? I'd like to know if there is a spray for the uncovered cubes too. Seems like a fun easy project for a stamp camp.

Thanks!

I tried photos on the cubes but found that copies worked better. There is an "archival spray" on the market that should do what you want for preserving the pics though.

BTW - I used mod podge instead of the double sided tape and it worked really well.

Cool, you don't need a cube or wood. Check this out.

I'm going to go try it now! I'd still like to hear if anyone else has experience making these!

Thank you!

Were you using mod podge to attach the paper to paper or did you have a cube of some kind? I'll check into the archival spray too. Thanks for your response.
