alternative solutions:
Use a hand-held drill (not motorized). They sell at scrapbook stores, online, for crafting projects. Drill two holes in the center of your post-it towards the top and thread a wide organdy ribbon through so that the ends poke out the front. Don't tie. A quick safeguard to prevent falling apart.
If your post-its are old and the tacky is wearing out (or generic/cheapies), I'd recommend investing in a higher quality post-it (super sticky, for instance), esp. if these are gifts or workshop projects.
Note: I use sticky strip for my acrylic frames and that seems to work very well. ATG gun might work too. Avoid SNAIL or regular adhesive (or even double-sided tape) for this type of 3D project.
HTH!
