Default Question on Faux Stitching...

Instead of a gel pen has anyone here ever tried using an embossing pen to draw the lines from hole to hole then emboss it with a white embossing powder???

I tried it and got so-so results. It comes out very thick. If you can get your versamarker VERY thin, I think it might work. Just play with it but my result came out so thick it didn't look natural.
