Default Stamp on a picture frame?

Hi! This is my first entry EVER! I've a question...
I bought a cheap wood frame, painted it with an acrylic craft paint, and am going to stamp some pine needles & cones on it (DD Pines - SU!)...anyone know the best ink to stamp with?

The only StazOn pad I have is Jet Black. I have ALL the Classic colors, and the Craft Stampin Spots in Rich Regals. I was thinking the Chalk Pads (SU!) b/c that seems to be the thing to use for craft projects? I only have the earths/regals assortment. Also, would I have to heat-set it?
Thanks!!!

Hmmm...if it has a glossy finish then I would go with Stazon. Then seal with a clear sealant the next day. You could probably follow the similar technique as stamping on tiles (to make coasters) and get similar results. GL!

It doesn't have a glossy finish - it's one of those little plastic squeeze containers of paint that are around $.49-.99 at Michael's...

IMHO I would use your RR spots. You could heat set it if you need it to dry quickly. I agree that spraying some kind of clear finish on the stamping (once it is dry) will make sure it stays on. I have used mat finishes that I like because it doesn't get lost in the light if it is shined upon.
I'd love to see the finished project when you are done!
