Very cute candle! The doggie image is so cute. I recently tried my first candle project and was pleased with the results. I didn't use anything to "seal it." It was fun, wouldn't you say? I am definately going to try this with my stamping group.
We did these at a stamp camp one year. Big Hit, my friends 13 yr boy came with and he made a fishy friends one for his science teacher, and it was very cute, I think because it was his idea, his creation, neat seeing a kid do it. My son who was probably 8, put his name on it and a bunch of dollar signs, cracked me up!
What I do for any candle that I don't want to 'burn' is to take a tea light, turn it upside down on the top of the candle and make a mark of the circle. Then I take a knife and cut around the circle. Then with a spoon I 'carve' out a hole that will fit the tea light. This way, it looks like the candle is burning and all you have to do is replace the tea light
