Default Stamping on paint chips?

Okay, so do I have to use a pigment ink on them, since they are slick? Or is there something I can do that will enable me to use the regular dye inks?

I really like using paint chips but have only used the StazOn ink as I can get good images that will dry quickly. This works for me.

I know this is probably a dumb question, but what do you use them for? Are there any in the gallery? I am intrigued!

Oh, and I haven't looked in the gallery for samples yet. But I've seen them used as embellishments for both cards and pages, but since I've got a thing for tags, I'll probably use most of them as tags.
