Default stamping on painted metal, for outdoors?

My neighbor and I are putting up new mailboxes. We purchased white metal painted ones. Can I use StazOn ink? Or should I use something from the hardware store? These will, obviously, be outdoors and I want them to stay nice for awhile.

thank you!!

I would think Staz-on would work. I have used it on small painted buckets and have not had a problem. I would think for the outside I would seal it with a clear spray sealer and it should be good to go. hth
