You can use any color crayon. Just buff it off when you're done coloring. It will wipe right off.

I use a colored crayon too so I can actually SEE where I have highlighted. Old eyes and all!

You can also use the clear wax crayons if you have any from Easter Egg dye kits. I haven't tried it with colored crayons though, it really wipes off? If it does that would be great because my eyes aren't the best either

I heard of someone using a white birthday candle with good results!

Just don't use red. It left a pink color on my card.

There is a white china marker pencil. I got two of them at a the recent stamp show in Allentown, PA. It works really nicely and I don't have to keep buying boxes of crayons to get the one white one!

Here's perhaps a more costly idea, but it would take you a long time to run out of light colored crayons! Crayola.com has an online store and you can make a custom 64-crayon box with any colors you like, including white, canary (very light yellow), piggy pink (light pink) or timberwolf (light gray). The box is $10.99 plus shipping and tax. I'm thinking of ordering one to use for stamp class use.

Or you could go to the store and stock up on crayons at back to school prices. My sister found 24 packs of RoseArt crayons for 10 for $1 at Target last week. At that price, you could buy 64 packs for cheaper than ordering directly from Crayola!

You can also use the SU Metallic Pencils. The silver & champagne colored ones work the best - the others will leave a little tint of color behind, which can come in handy, depending on the look you want to achieve.
