Talking Toothpaste Technique?

Does anyone know what the "Toothepaste Technique" is? I saw a card that used this technique and loved it, but I can't figure out how it was done! Any help would be appreciated!!!

THANKS!

not sure what card you are referring to but Textured Toothpaste was a technique in the TJNL www.patstamps.com in June 2004

Did you look in the VSN forum? There was a challenge with that technique (I think..) I think it was in the JAN VSN.

I'll go look!

If you search the gallery under JANVSNZ you will find a bunch of samples. I did it by squirting toothpaste onto a plastic plate and then stamped my stamp into it and stamped on cardstock. It gave a textured look. I sponged color onto the toothpaste when it dried. I dried it a <bit> with the heat gun. Here's mine!
