Default viewmaster instructions....I hope

I know this used to be in resources under projects, that is where I got it. Now projects end with "M". Wonder what is up with that??? Anyway, I hope this works!

For lining them up I have found this the best - put the circle under the window attached with the brad like it is going to be when you are finished; draw lightly in pencil on the circle just inside the window. Then rotate the circle so that none of your pencilled outline shows, and do another one, and so on round. You can just about fit 5 though 4 works best unless they are very small - mostly I've done 5 only if it was letters for spelling a name. If you're going for 4, it's a good idea to have lightly pencilled in lines to mark each quarter of the circle so that your images are evenly spaced. After I'd done a couple I made a template and kept it, but then I kept making different sizes of windows, so that didn't work. Carefully erase your pencil lines when you are done stamping.
An alternative that works for me too is masking the card, leaving the window uncovered and stamping straight onto the circle through it. But I don't use a brad for the pivot point, I use a little paper hinge-thing which is flat, so it doesn't affect the stamping. It might be a problem with a brad getting in the way of the stamp.
HTH
ps, if you're going to do more than one from the same template, same size window etc., definitely take a copy of what you've done this time, it will save time next time round.

Thanks, Cook22 - it seems so simple put that way - the tutorial here on SCS was a little vague on this detail! Can't wait to try this technique.
