I thought about trying a lunchbag book - hate to throw it out but there is SO MUCH of it each time. If this is already covered elsewhere, I'm sorry - please direct me there!
I smooth it out and make little envelopes for on my cards or just as a gift card. I uploaded some of the ones I had on hand in todays gallery.
Thanks krabearkub - these are some good ideas and sewingmw I will definately try the envelope idea. I will let everyone know how the paper bag books come out!
Just this past week, I spread it all out and made a "town" of sorts for my son to play cars on. I made roads, intersections, etc with a sharpie. We built a little town out of legos and Lincoln Logs. He enjoyed it for a while and then we threw it out.
Love the idea of using it to cover the table when the kids are crafting!
Wow... if I am not careful I am going to turn into my Grandmother. She saves everything. My husband looked at me funny when I saved the edges of the extra rubber and then I started saving pop tops and sour cream containers, now I am going to start saving that packing paper.... Oh well. It is all in the name of STAMPIN!!! Yeah!

I have smoothed it out and used my Ornament wheel with Burgundy ink and made Christmas Wrapping paper. It was pretty cute! THe burgundy was a good color.

My cats are right there with yours! I have to leave it on the floor for days. Sometimes it just stays there until I get another box and refresh it with a new piece of paper ;) They have more fun with that paper then I could possibly ever have!
My new kitten (one of my 4 "baby gatos!") absolutely loves the stuff, too. I keep it around until it is totally shredded. I usually have a new box right about that time to replace it though, imagine that!
I'm a new demo,
and was thinking the same thing! I saved it and made paper mache eggs with it for work. It tears easy, and is nice and thick.
I work at a day care.
