what else to do with CD case other than calendars?
anyone anyone? I've got a bunch of extra CD cases, and I just know there's gotta be something else wonderful to do with them besides the great calendars that I've been making. if you have a suggestion I'd love to hear it! thanks
Michelle
sure here are the pics I just took of the calendar we're making at my stamp camp this saturday. sorry the first one's not a very good picture. :? hope you like it
Michelle
ps sorry, it won't let me add the last one to this post I'll have to try to add it on another one.
Could you send me an email with your resource for this calendar?
Still have two weeks...I might be able to get them done for the gals at the office! TIA
My question is, where do you keep all the pages for the calendar that you are not using? That is the one thing that has prevented me from making them. I hate having stuff lay around. Do you attach them all together and tear off or what?
I was in a winery outlet and saw a CD case that was turned into a winecharm holder. From what I could figure, they punched holes about 1/2 inch apart to put the wires through. They had 6 types set in rows of 2. A solid piece of cardstock was under the punched one.
They had stamped grapes, wine glasses and such on the top piece. I would make a cover sheet for the front as well.
I hope you understand what I'm trying to explain! LOL Sometimes I think I'm clear and I'm not.
Good Luck!
here's a link to where I got my clanedar. http://www.red-castle.com/software/fw/printcal.htm
I had to adjust the size of the calendar to 4" wide and 2.25" high, but you can do this in the free software that you can download there.
I just put the extra pages in a cello bag, and sore them behind the calendar on the CD case. hope this is clear.

no, with the embellishments I can only fit 1 month in at a time, but I guess if you didn't put too many things on them to make it bulky you could put more than one sheet in at once.
Michelle
The cases I have fit 12 months - I don't have a lot of embellishments. And I staggered the months on the sheets - used the RedCastle site, printed them about 2.25 x 2.5, cut them apart, matted each one to coordinate with the month theme.
Hmm - I think I may have to go back to English as a first language - that is making no sense to me. Did I help any one? Or just muddy it worse?
