Wood Grain Background
I have used this technique, and sometimes it works beautifully. I suggest playing around on scrap. Donna Dewbury brushes, I have one
that is fan shaped. I dip slightly the tips of the brush in some ink drops on
the cover of pad. Then very gently drag brush across CS You can do curvy and straight lines to get a variance in grain. The amount of pressure you use when dragging really depicts the outcome. Use light pressure.
Then, I take a round brush the one you use on stencils and dab around for knots. You can have a lot of fun with this.. Also can use SU's
Plaid Maker for more interesting effects. Hope this is clear as mud.
