this calendar is very similar to the SU! Create-A-Calendar that was included in the '08 holiday mini catalog. i'm attaching as an Adobe Acrobat file as font specifics really change the layout of the calendars and can mess up your printing.
i hope you find the template useful and a little more thrifty if you're making gift calendars this year!
printing instructions:
adobe acrobat may automatically set the "page scaling" [on the print pop-up] to fit to printer margins. this increases the margin of the original file and reduces the image. be sure page scaling is set to none to ensure the file prints at the correct size.
cutting instructions:
the calendar prints three months to a page. after printing, trim 1/2" from the left margin. now, each month can be trimmed at 3-1/2" wide. trimming this way should leave you with the months *nearly* centered on each page, however each printer can be slightly different - so check your first printed copy before trimming all pages.
trim another 1/4" from just the bottom and one side of the trimmed calendar sheets and they're perfect for mounting on double-sided printed papers; using the entire sheet of paper for three calendar pages. AND the extra calendar pages will fit in an altered letter-sized business envelope!

I really like this. TFS. I was wondering if you had a template that was just the calendars without the lines underneath? I have a project in mind and the calendars themselves are a good size. But I would hate to waste the paper printing off four sheets of this when I don't need the bottom part.

susan - check the downloads forum. i have several other calendar templates posted there and maybe they'll work for you. this one specifically was to replicate the calendar from the SU! catalog.
okay I do love it, however, needs to be trimmed to 3 1/4 not 3 1/2. Otherwise, it is not centered.!!! Sorry!!! I ruined a lot of paper. Just FYI!!
i'm glad you found the template helpful. each printer can be 'off' a little. i double checked the measurements with my own printed copies - so it must be a printer issue. i'll add a note to the main post.
okay It could be 3 1/2 but the words on the side of the pages that says trim are still on the calendar!! Could you fix it, please!!! Thanks so much!
sorry - there's really nothing i can "fix". some printers add additional margin which i can't account for. i had assumed creating the Adobe PDF would prevent resizing, but it appears that it hasn't. i'll test the print at home tonight [on my cheaper printer] and see if that makes a diff.

well, i have a suggestion for you Cheri. when i print the file on my home printer, adobe acrobat automatically sets the "page scaling" [on my print pop-up] to fit to printer margins. this increases the margin of the original file and reduces the image. so, make sure that it's set to none. following the cutting instructions in my first post should correct your cutting issues.
Thanks so much! I always do the Michaels/Target $1 spot calendars with pics of the kids for the grandparents and I was looking for something new this year! Thanks again for putting this together!
Totally helpful. Thank you.
Cards for care center and rehab residents would be user friendly all year long or two years in the case of my downloads, cut and glued into the card's fold.
Looking for something new to add a treat for heroes in VA hospitals; this looks super. Keep Looking Up!
Greeting cards for Ron McDonald house residents could use a calendar with journaling lines to record all the medical info from a herd of medical advisers passing said family member's bedside. Many other ideas for decorative, useful, kindly gifting with this template treat candied inside a greeting. Go for it girls!
