well, i can't believe that i created this template MONTHS ago, and forgot to post it here!
this is my 2011 quarterly calendar formatted for use with altered checkbook covers. i know you've seen them in the gallery -- i actually made a few as gifts last year -- and they're just too cute and very handy to have! your friends will LOVE them! this concept is not my original design, but this calendar is all mine ;)
just print my calendar on your paper, cut into four rectangles (use the cutting lines on the template as a guide). then, adhere to cardstock cut 6" x 6-1/4", scored down the middle (at the 3" mark on the 6" side).
this template would work great for the easel desktop calendars i've been seeing to, like this one Cambria made. aren't they gorgeous?
i buy my clear vinyl checkbook covers from WINGS, here; GREAT service and really nice vinyl products. you'll find them in many other stores too.

hopefully this helps you find the template you’re looking for.

if you use my template, please link back to this thread so others can enjoy the templates as well. and, consider including a link in this thread so we can see all your wonderful calendar creations!
This is awesome! I just saw it today, as well. Sure beats those 'itty bitty' calendars on the back of the check register! Who can read those?????? TFS!!!!
i'm definitely going to make some of these for gifts. i typically give some kind of calendar to a lot of my girlfriends, so i'm thinking a gift of several coordinating calendars? we'll see how that idea goes, and i'll post pictures here when i'm done (probably around 12/20 or so! yikes!)
Cat...THANK YOU!!!
I use all your calendar templates. I have 3 groups I do cards and little gifts for. The gifts are 99% calendars. Sometimes as bookmarks, tear-offs, full page etc. But, these are new!!! Love how you can use as chequebook calendar or 3 month/season calendar.
Gonna do both.....now to get to work!!!!
Probably the bookmark calendars are the most favourite - I have them laminated at Staples.
Thanks for all your hard work of the wonderful templates you do. I have tried to make calendar templates and it takes a long time. You have lots of wonderful calendars.
You are awesome!!! I am so sorry you didn't feel the love because it is out there. Thanks for all the time, effort and hard work you do on behalf of all the fellow stampers.
I just saw this today- (even though you posted on 9-29-10) I felt the need to tell you this.
I just want to thank you again for the time you put into these calendars. Last year was the first time I discovered you. This year I looked forward to your calendars and i have told all my stamping friends about them. Thank you for not charging - seems like everyone wants money now days - and your calendars are so greatly appreciated! I wish I could pay you what I feel they are worth!
This year, I am making an easel style calendar card for each person in my family and for my very special stamping friends! I have never uploaded card pictures before... but if I get it figured out - I will be sure to let you know.
Hi Cat... these are truly wonderful and I was wondering... for the checkbook cover one... can you fit two to a page if you put them side by side on a landscape view? I don't have acrobat to edit, nor do I know how... was wondering if you had this version in a Word Doc?
Just a thought.. trying to maximize the use of the cardstock... since it's 5.25 x 8, I figured I could get two next to each other on a page.
Thanks again for sharing your wonderful calendars... I love them!
Sandra - thanks for your sweet comments on my templates!
i no longer post editable versions of my templates as i find them all over the net without proper credits to the author. i love to share my calendars, but hate to see people share them as downloads as their own works.
having said that, i'm ALL about conserving my supplies [ESPECIALLY paper] and can't believe i didn't realize these specific templates would fit landscape. since i think some printers won't print with just a 1/4" margin, i'll post another template with the view you're asking for.
i'm working on lots of updates, so it may be a few days [or weeks ;) ], but i'll get to it.

WOW.. that is very generous of you and I appreciate it very much.. I totally agree with what you have said about folks stealing stuff online.. it's so sad.
Again, I look forward to seeing it and I can't wait to make one of these.

I am so happy to see you are working on your 2012 calendars ... they are the perfect size for a project I am working on, and I'd love to get a jump start on projects for the fall. (Yeah, I'm nerdy like that!). Thanks for all you do!
Your Desk top Calendar is just beautiful. Very functional and pretty. Next year those will be my Christmas gifts to the girls at work.
I just love SCS. The creativity of you folks is amazing. I always get inspired whenever I come here!!!
