I put one on a scrapbook page ready for this year's photos.

On Christmas, Santa's reindeer travel miles before the dawn.
The smell of oats and glitter path
will guide them on their way -
And you'll wake up to Santa's gifts next morn on Christmas Day!
A couple of recipes:
RECIPE FOR MAGIC REINDEER FOOD #1
Colored crystal sugar (cake decorating sugar)
Dried apple slices
Nutmeg
Cinnamon sticks
Cloves
Put ingredients together in a bowl and mix.
On Christmas Eve, sprinkle on your lawn to help Santa's reindeer find your house.
RECIPE FOR MAGIC REINDEER FOOD #2
Mix bird seed, dry oatmeal or cereal (such as cheerios, rice krispies, or grape nuts flakes), and red or green colored sugar crystals

Thanks so much for posting this. I work at the local library and we made a bunch for the kids for our Tues morning Christmas party..everyone loved them!!! Sandi
Last year I made Puppy Chow and did a Reindeer food poem that included the kids having to eat some so they can actually see the Reindeer. I guess I had better get going on that again. The parents I sent it to shared some of the funniest pictures of kids eating like a Reindeer for some odd reason...I guess the poem made them think they had to eat like one.
