Just discovered these (I'm pretty sure it was Cambria's blog and the credit she gave to you for them) and had to print out your templates and example - can't wait to give one a try. Thanks for sharing such a darling box and all the instructions. This is adorable.
Love these.....have to make some BEFORE Sunday......I think these are the cutest things...wish I would of ordered that stamp...darn it! But I will come up with something...Thanks sooooooo much for sharing!!
Brenda,
Just wanted to add my thanks to this growing list -- really love your boxes and thanks so much for sharing the templates... You certainly *are* a box-making genius and very kind one at that!
hmm....i wonder if i can make a bigger version to hold more candy.....
thanks for the info!
If you're using the Stampin' Up punch to make the egg holes, you could make the box longer. If you make it any wider the punch won't reach to the center. If you have a way to make the holes, that is not limited by a punch's reach, you could certainly make the box any size you wish.
These boxes are great, my sister had commented to me she needed some table favors for Easter, I sent her this thread, and she made each guest a box for their place setting.....she didn't have the correct size punch, so she hand cut each one, can you imagine! But she is going to order the Su circle punch for sure now...hopefully from me...LOL!!
Awesome idea and THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing the template and pictures. I am trying lots of new boxes and this one will top my list. Thank you again!
Hi, I'm new so excuse my ignorance. I've try to make these beautiful boxes (thanks Qbee, they are great). I'm having a lot of trouble with the hole punching on the insert. Must I have a SU 3/4" punch to do it? I bought a 3/4" at Michales and it doesn't reach and align nicely. Then I bought a fiskers circle cutter, I believe the template that came with it is a 1" circle. The candy sits in nicely, but doesn't stay. So either I need a punch with a longer reach (which is easer than the circle cutter) and/or a way to make the candy stay (possible a little double sided tape??? HELP! Thank you!

The eggs do shift a little. If you put them in the holes and do not shake them, they stay put. If you tip the box they will come out. In other words, if they look good in the holes, when you first put them in, that is how it was designed. As you already mentioned, you may want to put a mini glue dot of a doubled sided adhesive on the eggs if you want them to stay perfectly still. Good Luck!

Thanks so much Qbee. I put a little dot and they stay put (I'm giving them to my children's teacher and they will definitely shift in their backpacks ) Do the SU punches have a longer reach? I don't know much about SU. I LOVE these boxes, thank you again for being so considerate and posting them!
I love these boxes but for some strange reason, I cannot download the templates? I click on them and the page is blank? what is up with my wonderful apple computer?? Never had a problem before!

Splitcoaststampers (SCS) migrated their servers to a new location last week. The links to PDF files are currently not working. SCS is aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. Hopefully we will have the files back soon.
