Default Adhesive question?????

Okay, I had read on one of the threads that someone used E6000 to adhere scrapbook pages to paperbag albums. Is there anything similar to E6000 that doesn't knock you out with the fumes? I only put a few sheets of paper on and my eyes started watering and my nose started running. I loved how it worked. The paper stuck great and it didn't have any air bubbles or creases. I tried Mod podge but it makes the paper look all flimsy. Would Chrystal Effects work the same way as the E6000? I had to laugh when I read the tube for the E6000. It says that it is harmful to some surfaces, has toxic fumes, BUT is safe for photographs. How is that possible? lol Any advice would be great!

TIA
Heather

I read somewhere on here about Quick Grip, I think it was JulieHRR. I bought mine at Walmart and it works on just about everything. I even glued a foot back on a Santa ornament. It dries really quick, too. It has just a slight odor.
