Black shimmery card stock? I need to make gift tags for a sweet 16 party (however I am told you are not to use the word sweet so it is really just a 16 party). They would like the tags to mirror the invites which have a black card stock with a shimmer to it. I haven't seen the card stock so I am winging this.

Paper Accents has pearlized cardstock in all kinds of colors. I'd bet they'd have a black one. Do you have a local paper supply store?

Paper Wishes has a black gimmer paper but it is kind of pricey at 89 cents/sheet (8.5x11 sheet). I've never purchased it so I don't know what the quality is. And there is a minimum order of 15 sheets of paper if you buy them by the sheet - but it can be any combo of any paper.

The only locals are AC Moore and Michael's. I was thinking about mentioning to the person that needs these tags made, to see if she can purchase from the company doing the invitations matching card stock. Since this person is my boss I thought I should try to do a little research. Thanks for the Paper Accents tip - I'll check it out.

Thanks for this info. I will look into this as well. Believe me, the cost of the paper won't be an issue for the person that is having the party. It will most likely outshine some weddings!!!

If you want to order Bazzill makes a shimmery paper that is called bling and I really love it. I usually order mine from createforless.com or joann.com HTH

Yes it is and that's part of the reason that I love it. It is a great looking paper as well as having the shimmer.

Thanks! I know I would like it I'm just not sure the if person that needs the tags would be ok with it. At least I can let her know it has a texture.

I use both bazzill and a shimmery black from Kelly Paper.

I haven't used this company but I know a lot of people on here rave about them http://www.marcopaper.com/Pricer%20Index.htm if you go into specialty papers etc - apparently they have good customer service and could probably guide you on choices if you email them.

However, I think for any party the more uniform the colors used the classier it looks so I second asking for the printer's information to liaise with them to coordinate.
