Question Anyone know where to get a 3 ring binder to alter?

Hi,

I am looking for a 3 ring binder that I can alter. There used to be some nice ones at Target that had a colored spine and the rest of the book was a tan colored paper. I went the other day, and now all they have are the address books and small notebooks. So just wondering if anyone knows of anything similar? I want it to be a full sized (8 1/2 x 11) 3 ring binder.

Thanks,
Connie

Forgot to mention that I don't want one with the vinyl like cover - I would much rather have the paper covered kind, because I think I would be able to cover it better.

Thanks,
Connie

Hobby Lobby has them with the Scrapbook Albums. they are 12 x 12 and are the 3 ring style. I just bought one to alter as a baby album for a friend.

Those in Hobby Lobby are American Craft Albums. Try doing a search on them. They are more expensive than the one's at Target but very nice. I wish Hobby Lobby carried the 8 1/2 x 11 one's.

I thought I saw some on e-bay made by 7Gypsies. I could be wrong on the maker, but I believe that was it.

I have several of the American Craft ones as well. My Hobby Lobby carries them in Pink, brown and lime green spines, with a kraft colored cover. It's 3 big D-rings. 8 1/2 x 11 would be nice, come to think of it! But these are my new favorite. I think $16.99? I wait till they go on sale.

Thanks to everyone who responded! I love those American Craft ones - I would love them even more if I could find the 8 1/2 x 11 size. It is going to be my stamp index, once I get all of my stamps unmounted and stamped.

*edited to add* Now that I know the manufacturer, I have found several places online to buy from. Thanks!

Thanks again!

Connie
