Default Bind It All for Dummies

I absolutely love my Bind it All, but I am having a devil of a time trying to punch holes in anything wider than 3 inches. The instructions are not clear to me at all-- thus the reference to dummies! I've tried several methods, but my punches continue to come out uneven.

Does anyone know an tutorial (video or print) where I can take remedial Bind it All lessons???

Thanks!
Denise

Oh I hear you!

To punch more than just the six holes.... If you look at the right side of the bind it all, there's that lever you can slide for A, B, C, or D. Well, on the back of that black lever there's a little rectangular piece sticking out. Do you see that? What you need to do is line up one of the holes you've already punched with that rectangle. I think it would be the second to the last hole from the left side of whatever you've just punched. Once that is lined up, go ahead and punch more holes in your page. You can experiment with which hole to line up so that you get the correct holes that you need with your project. Definitely practice with printer paper or some other scrap to see what I'm talking about.

My BIA came with a DVD/CD but I haven't watched it yet. So am not sure if there are instructions on there or not. Have you tried their website, maybe they have a tutorial on there you can download or even a number you can call for easier instructions. It took me a few times to get it right but once I got it down it was easy. Good Luck, once you get the hang of it you will be binding everything!

Bind-it-All is manufactured by Zutter Innovative Products. They also sponsor a site called ZutterZisters.com If you go to this link, there is now a Bind-it-All instruction manual:

http://www.zutterzisters.com/Tips.html

http://www.zutterzisters.com/files/D...structions.pdf

There are other helpful hints on there as well for both the Bind-it-All and Dreamkutz machines.
