Black & pink Big Shot and Top Note die

I was told today that the SU Big Shot was specially designed for SU and some SU dies like Top Note will "not' fit in the Black and pink Big Shot. The space between the rollers on the "SU Big Shot" is wider. Does anyone have the Black and pink Big Shot and can you use the large SU dies?

SU! has a particular "look" -- sleek and black -- that is applied to everything produced for them. The Pink CAD, the purple Fiskars trimmer, and the black Big Shot are all the same product as what's available in the SU! catalog. Now there are a few other die-cut machines that cannot accommodate the larger Sizzix dies, but the more colorful Big Shot machines are not among them.

That would be my guess, too. ;) I have a friend who has a red/white Big Kick (same as Big Shot but has Sizzix name on it) - it's got the exact same innards (flip plates, etc)as the SU Big Shot and fits the same size dies, etc.

I used a SU Big Shot for the first time last Saturday and on Tues visited this friend and she showed me her old Big Kick. No difference in function, just a different look - all cosmetic!

My sister has a Big Shot but it is green and blue and she says she can't use the bigz or xl. I haven't looked at it to know for sure but I have never seen THAT color before so maybe she is right but I am taking over my dies to try them, anyway.

I have the Black and Pink Big Shot and the Top Note die works just fine. HTH,

I have the original Big Shot (Turquoise/Green) and I also have both Bigz and SU! dies and have not had a problem running any of them thru the Big Shot. Just make certain you use the proper accessories with what ever die you use and you should be okay. In earnest, the SU! dies rolled through as smooth as butter.

If it is a Big Shot all Sizzix dies fit in it, as the others have said it is only colour changes. I have the old Blue one (decorated it myself with rubons and bling) and use the Bigz dies etc.

I have the first big shot (blue and black) and they fit just fine!
