Can I buy an ATG at Michael's ?

I was wanting to order the tape from The Tape Depot as discussed in this post Forums at Splitcoaststampers but if I buy the dispenser from them , my shipping (to Canada) will go from $10 to $23.50 so I was hoping to buy the ATG at Michael's.

Can I get it there and does anyone have an idea as to the price ?

I have never seen one there. I bought mine from framingsupplies.com, but I don't know about their shipping policeis for Canada.

I get my tape from NHS in Canada. I didn't order my gun from them, but I see that they do carry them. Their service is excellent.

I asked at my local Michaels about both the gun and the tape but they didn't carry it for resale (they use it but don't sell it). I would try a local shop that carries framing supplies. However I expect that you'll find the prices are pretty high... maybe high enough that the even with shipping, ordering it from some place like framingsupplies.com would still be cheaper. There are a number of other on-line sources. You might want to see if any of them are better for shipping to Canada (findtape.com, bindingsource.com and armelcompany)

I have been looking online and the prices seem quite high.The dispenser at the Tape Depot is $25 so even with $23.50 in shipping , the price looks really good .I can order up to 4 - 12 packs of adhesive and still have the shipping be the same .

I ordered my ATG and two rolls of tape from 7Kids College Fund a few weeks ago and the price came to $75 with the shipping and the exchange rate. I received my parcel on Friday, it was really quick shipping and I did not have to pay any duty on it when it got here. Even with the higher price of shipping and exchange it works out to be less expensive in the long run to get the ATG even from the States compared to the price of the snail adhesive and how many I was going through. HTH.

I got my ATG & refills from www.framingsupplies.com

They were reasonable I thought, and shipped quickly.

Definitely one of the smartest stamping-related purchases I've made. Took just a little getting used to, and I still need to watch the little video when putting in a new roll, but the thing is awesome!

I got mine from cropandstick.com. They're prices are good and their customer service and shipping are awesome!!! Love my ATG!!
