Default Can someone tell me what Amuse stamps are like?

I was looking at their site and love the images but have never tried the stamps before. Can someone tell me what they are like? Thanks!

They are AWESOME!!!

Deeply etched red rubber on cling with images on the cling side. The images on the cling side are not on a sticker.

A Muse was previously known as a Retail/Wholesaler operating as A Muse Artstamps, Inc. They discontinued their wholesale operation the end of 2010 and have rebranded as A Muse Studio, a home party based business.

You can go to the A Muse Studio website and search for a consultant in your area to purchase A Muse Studio products online. If you know of a consultant and they have opted to have a consultant website, you can enter the consultant's name and purchase that way. Hope that helps.

They look and feel very similar to the SU clear mounted option. Except they are screened with the image like Tim Holtz stamps instead of the sticker that you get with SU. They are great quality and wonderful to work with.

You can find a consultant using the website Novell posted to find someone one close to you.

Website wasn't very user friendly. Had a bit of trouble trying to find someone in my area so I gave up for now. Maybe I'll check later.

When you go to the home page, you will see a caption toward the bottom left that says, "SHOP ONLINE" next to a picture of ink pads. Click there and it will take you to the spot where you can find a consultant.

I think they stick to the block great and are easy to use. My nephew was using my new stamps, he is 5, and he did get some edge marks but it was pry user error. I just had surgery last week so I haven't tried them yet- my package was on the porch when I came home from the hospital! They come ready to use and I love having the image printed on the foam! I was debating consolidating sets together, but it is nice having the big foam piece so you can make sure you got all the stamps back in there!

I do feel that most of the images are smaller than I would like- I like to have one stamp as a focal point of the card, and they are mostly too small for that. I purchased the pirate set anyways, and pry will use several stamps together for the focal image.

One note- I, pry from the stress from my upcoming surgery, didn't realize that the fancy cardstock is 8.5 x 11 so I was surprised when I opened my box. It also is only one sided, with is okay since the size combined with that means I can make cool card bases.... Lucky I didn't really have any plans for it that required a 12 x 12. I mostly just wanted to see it! I got the gigham and another print in the sample packs so I got several of each color.

Didn't buy any solid cardstock.

All the stamps and stuff are 50% off on this website until tomorrow. you just need to put in 50gone at checkout. Some of them are wood mounted, but I am ok with that! Especially since some of the stamps are only $1!!

I ordered a few weeks ago and got some great bargains! In fact, 2 of my sets came and they were clear sets.

I also have a new AMUSE catty and I thought it said that some of the sets will come in clear rather than the cling mount rubber. I am not sure how to tell. I read it in passing and have not had a chance to go look further. Happy shopping!

I put in a huge order! I mean, with 50% off I couldn't go wrong!

Clear sets start on p. 78 of the catalog and are primarily the birthday builder (# set), fancy alphabet, grunged block alphabet, classic alphabet, and personal stationery set.

A muse stamps are great!! The cling rubber is high quality and the stamps are ready-to-go, already nicely indexed for you, cling well and stamp great.

They come packed in a plastic DVD-like case and the surrounding rubber sticks to a plastic sheet. So you have the choice of leaving that extra rubber as a sort of "placeholder" for your stamps ~ an at-a-glance method of making sure they've all been put back in the box.

Hello!!

I was wondering if you could help me out since you seem to be in the know, what kind of tool is pictured on the website with the grid paper background?

thanks a bunch

That's the Corner Chomper. If you look very closely, you can make out the slight green of the handles which are just a bit faded out in the photo. You can also see the green printing on the top if you zoom in .

I'm curious about Amuse stamps and being a consultant. Are there monthly or quarterly quotas to fill? Do you have to order a certain dollar amount? Are there shipping AND handling charges? Do consultants receive a discounted price on their stamp orders? Are all the stamps too small to be used on their own as a focal point for cards? I couldn't find a place on the website where those questions were answered.
Thanks a lot!
Kathy

I'd love to answer all of your questions here Kathy, but there are restrictions on being "self-promotional" and I'm not sure the answers would fly b/c I'm a consultant.

There are a couple of other ways to get your answers -- go to the shop online part of the site and choose a consultant, preferably one near to you so you can have workshops with them, attend their events, etc. Then contact them directly.

Or you can write to [email protected] and talk to the ladies behind the scenes directly.

Or simply choose a consultant from here on SCS. Most have links in their signature line. I would check out blog links, find one that "clicks" with you and your personal tastes, and contact that person.

Many consultants will have links and info right on their blog, and in the permanently displayed sidebar, that may answer some of your questions.

Also, if you go to START A BUSINESS, and choose a consultant, you'll come to a page that lists everything in the starter kit and deluxe starter kit. At the very bottom is the Independent Creative Consultant Agreement that should answer at least some of your questions as well.

The items in the catalog are 100%:

Thank you, Nancy, for your help and direction. I did read some of that before posting on here. I was more concerned with amounts and looks like I'd rather just be a customer first. So maybe soon I'll make my first order...stamp inks and papers look wonderful as do lots of stamps!
Thanks again,
Kathy

If you want to shop online, you find a consultant first - someone with a webstore. So you want to use the consultant locator first, then you'll get to their store.

I understand that, but every time I put in Amusestudio.com it comes up ok, but already had a consultants name attached? I don't want to work w/an upline that is states away from me.

No, not at this time. Our current promotion is here:

GetOnBoardPromotion.pdf

I understand your desire to have an upline near to you. The consultants that will be located for you on the website are those that have a webstore. Perhaps there are other consultants closer to you that it will not locate because they have not chosen the option of a webstore.

I'd suggest you write to [email protected] to see if they can sign you up under someone closer.

ETA: I was just rereading your post in my email. Are you going to Start a Business? Or Shop Online? If you click Start a Business, there is an option for "If you are not currently working with a consultant" or something like that.
