Default Can you Dry Emboss with the Cricut

I heard that it was possible to dry emboss with the CRICUT and they had a special blade to do this. Is it true??? Has anyone done it? How does that work with the mat?

The Cricut itself does not do dry embossing, but you can use the Cricut to make your own embossing folders, which you would then use in your Cuttlebug. I just bought one of the embossing folder kits that Provo Craft sells to try this, but haven't gotten around to it yet. It looks like you can create your own design with the Cricut, cut it from the material in the kit, and make your own custom embossing folder. Hope this helps answer your question!

So, Gale, this thing fits in a cricut blade housing? Do you have one? Is there a special mat to use?
