Canon Rebel XTI

I know that several of you own this SLR camera and I am looking for a great online source to purchase one. Where did you get yours from and were you pleased with the service?

I don't have the XTI but I have a 20D and 30D (1 step and 2 steps above the XTI, respectively) that my Dh and I use in our photography business. We bought both cameras and most other camera equipment on e-bay. Look for a reputable vendor such as Sunshine electronics or Digital Beach - any place that has a permanent storefront. If it's an individual reselling it or something like that, I wouldn't do it. Also, if the price is drastically lower than everyone else's price, I wouldn't do that either. HTH.

I have this camera, but I didn't get it online. I bought mine at BJ's for an awesome price. Give me a few, and I'll look for a good price online.
On another note, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this camera!

just got my XTI from BEst Buy- they were having a deal at the time- I love it!
it is a huge learning curve for me.. was wanting the 30D but didn't have the cash..

Okay...I ordered from Beachcamera.com. I found this website after doing a search through pricegrabber.com. Awesome service and GREAT price. 734.00 with free shipping and no tax. This was the Rebel XTI kit brand new (USA) with the canon 18-55mm lens. Awesome camera!

You won't be sorry with the XTI. The only real difference between the 30D and XTI is the 30D has a heavy duty magnesuim casing which is supposed to be dustproof. I was told by my camera shop guy that this is what makes the 30D a pro camera. As far as features and picture taking ability, they're basically the same. Congrats on a great camera!

I love my rebel xt, but wanted something to throw in my purse, so my DH bought me the canon sd900 for valentines day - very small, very cool, 10 megapixels, plugs directly to computer to download - I'm loving it, and oh, him too!!!
