I did! It's so cool and it's a very nice quality plastic template. I saw the add here on the SCS (banner ad or something like that), clicked it, saw the adorable project, and bought the template. * The completed card caddy will hold 8 handmade cards AND envelopes! The template itself will fit on a 8.5" x 11" piece of cardstock.

You are very welcome! I used mine this afternoon and it was so quick and easy! I just traced it with a pencil (since it fits on 8 1/2" x 11", there are only a few lines to trace and two pieces to cut). I used my bone folder to score it, then I folded on the lines and used some glue dots to join the sides. I think I'm going to like this template alot!
I recently ordered the card caddy template and love it too!! It's so easy to use. I made one in minutes! I'm going to put 8 cards and envelopes in it for teacher gifts! Mine came in 3 days after ordering it. I definitely recommend it. You'll love it!
I ordered mine on either Monday or Tuesday and it arrived at my house by Friday. In fact, I think it shipped the day after I ordered. If you order one this weekend, it might take a few days extra considering it is the weekend and a holiday to boot.
I purchased the Quick Card Caddy template through www.snooksandboo.com. It's AWESOME! A quality plastic template with easy to follow instructions. Decorate the card caddy to compliment your cards and envelopes. It's a great gift idea!
Hi. I posted a project made with this template in "the anything but a card" forum under gift ideas, in case anyone wanted to see it. It's the card box in the shape of a purse with pearls. (It's done in Almost Amethyst card stock)

Yes, I just checked it out and everyone should see it It's just too darn cute!!
Thanks for the information regarding the Quick Card Caddy Template. I received it early this week and I've used it for my gifts with different type of cards, Birthdays, Thank you's, All occasions. This is very easy and the template is very sturdy unlike other templates I've used.
Hi. The beads in the purse were purchased from Michael's. They were 3.99 and they have wire in them so they stand up by themselves!!! I think you can make about 12 purses with one roll because it is 9 feet long. I used approximately 9 inches for each one.
I've been wanting something like this... thanks... I just got one!

I figured out the cuts and scores you'd make on a 12 in. cutter to make this card caddy if anyone is interested! It's really easy, and you could use the money to order one of the new color ink pads instead!
Okay, this is really simple to do, but I'm not the best at explaining things so bear with me!
1. Starting with your blade at the top of the cutter or the 11" mark on the slide, cut @ 7 1/4" (on the pullout arm ruler) on each long side - cutting only down to the 3" mark on the slide's ruler.
2. Turn the cardstock to the left and cut off these strips using the 3" mark (now on your pull out arm ruler). Note: After this step, it's easier just to take off the cutting blade, because you're done cutting. The rest is just scoring!
3. Now keep the cardstock in the same position and use the scoring blade to score along the remaining cardstock.
4. Move the cardstock 1/2" to the right, and score again.
5. Now turn your cardstock back to the original position and continue scoring along the first line you cut @ 7 1/4" (what is now the flap). You're basically just scoring at the base of the flap.
6. Move the cardstock 1/2" to the right and score again on the flap.
7. Now do the same thing on the other side to the other flap.
8. Turn the cardstock 1/2 turn to the other side and score @ the 3" mark (on the pullout arm ruler) to make your top flap.
9. This time move the cardstock 1/2" to the left to score again at 2 1/2".
10. Your almost done! Just stamp it before you assemble it!
Hope this helps! Let me know if any of this is unclear! I promise after the first or second one it gets much easier and faster! Here's another tip: Use a transparency sheet to create a permanent template!
Yeah, I've made them myself also. It takes too long!!! With the Card Caddy Template, I can literally make one in less than 3 minutes. For anyone that could spare the $5.99, I would definitely recommend getting the template.
Well, I admit, the first time I did it, it took my about 10 minutes to figure out where to cut and score. But after making the second one, I can do it in less than 3 minutes now, too! I'd rather spend my money on stamps! JMHO!
I got mine on Friday from (snooksandboo.com) and have already made 3 of them! I am using them to put the notecards I made for my kid's teacher's gifts. I made a paint can and then all sorts of coordinating items to go in there. The notecards fit perfectly with the envelopes and it all fits nicely in the paint can.
It's a sturdy template and real easy to use! I can't wait to play some more today!!

Hi Ladies...
Just wanted to chime in here. I got my card caddy template about 3 weeks ago and fell in love with it! It really is a nice quality and as easy to use as it says. I've already made 4 gift sets with it!
My daughter who's 10, and her girl scout troup are using the templates also. They're making gift sets and planning to sell them at our local fest as a fundraiser for charity.
