Can anyone tell me where you can purchase cheaper clear paint cans?? I love them and have a huge project to do with them and would like to find them cheaper than at Archivers. Thanks!!

I've heard that Staples has them and Paper Wishes catalog has the 5" clear for $3.49 and the 7" clear for $5.99 shipping isn't that bad either. Hope this helps.

Oh, I love these! I just checked the staples website but can't find them. Did you get them online or in the store? What section?

I checked at ours and they had them! They weren't on display yet, but a really helpful employee remembered seeing them and dug them out. Ours weren't on sale though, so I ended up paying $1.50 for each in the gallon size. I love the metallic green lid!

I'm going to keep checking and see if they come up with any smaller size! Thanks so much for the tip!

I've never seen these. I would rather have those than the metal ones. Will have to check my local Staples the next time I'm near one. TFS.

I am from Illinois and have been into Staples for school supplies and can't seem to find what you are talking about. I did find a few websites, but nothing cheaper yet then Archivers.

They didn't have them on display at our staples either. I asked a clerk and he remembered seeing them in the stockroom and was nice enough to dig some out. The impression he gave is that the store had no idea where to put them out so they hadn't yet.

If you're in again, ask and they might have a stash too!

I just bought all the ones my Staples had. They had the ones with green and silver lids on clearance for $.50!! The blue ones were $.90, so I just bought the green and silver. I figure I will use them for a craft project for my MOPS group, since I am the new craft person.

I cleared out the supply that the two Staples near me had a week or two ago. I know why they were on clearance - they were originally over $8 a piece!!

Not sure exactly what I'm doing with them... I'm thinking about a "contain it" class for the fall. Pop tops, the clear paint cans, make a box...

Good luck searching. Call around!
