Default Which Copic colors?

This might be a strange question, but which Copic colors would you recommend for coloring a Siamese cat? That is my favorite cat (I miss my kitty :( ). I attached a picture of the coloring I am looking for. It is a Seal Point Siamese. (It isn't my cat, just a random picture from the internet.)

Thanks.

I'm still building my stash, so don't have very many colors yet. If you call 56 markers not very many. LOL

Wow - beautiful! I'm sorry you miss your kitty :( (hug)

The dark parts look like E49 and the parts on her back look like the Warm Greys - I only have W0 and you'd need a few shades darker than that. B21-ish for the eyes?

Which Copic colors?-new-pic.jpg
This was done using E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47 and E49. HTH. I know it seems like a lot, but it made the cat look more realistic.

I can only afford to buy 4 markers at this time, which ones of the E40's should I get for this project?

Thanks.

Start with 40, 42, 44, and 47. You won't get as gradual a blend and you won't have the darkest color, but it would still look nice. You can always get the others when you can afford them.
