I saw in another thread that you need to email www.carpediemstore.com in order to get the coupon (or info about the coupon) for the Copic Sketch markers. So, I'm wondering how long it takes to get a reply from them?
I emailed them a couple days ago and haven't heard anything. Am I being too impatient? It sounds like a great deal...and I think I want to partake:mrgreen:
Alana-
I emailed them a few weeks ago, just to check them out. They wrote back probably the next day. They said the coupon for the copics is not working, but that their order people know to give the discount. Sketch-style markers are 40% off individual markers. Sets are not discounted. Is this what anyone else got? The sale is going on until Aug 3, I believe.
HTH
I inquired with Carpe Diem and also got the "code isn't working now" reply. Below, please find the full text of the message I received, which indicated that sets are also on sale:

Thanks, Customer Service
I've done quite a bit of online 'window shopping' for these markers, and these prices are the best I've seen so far.
Stampingstud,
When did you get your email? I got mine on July 3. I'm wondering if the sets are now on sale too, or if they are no longer on sale. I'm confused...
Hmmmm...
They seem to have the best prices but their shipping was expensive.
I agree! I bought a set of 12 Copics and 12 Prismacolor markers to try them out; the price was good for both but it cost me about $13 for shipping! I wouldn't have minded so much if I got them in a couple of days but it took at a full week!

Wow! That seems pricey for S/H!!! That really changes the final price of the markers.
Just a warning about Carpe Diem customer service... (Nothing wrong with the product/price!)
My husband got me the Original markers for my birthday. He didn't realize that I wanted the Sketch, he thought the Originals were better and more versatile (which he's probably right -- but it wasn't what I wanted). Anyway, I called to see if I could exchange them and they won't.... the guy gave me some speech about can't trusting people to return unused products, yadda yadda. I tried to explain that I haven't open the packaging, it was still shrink wrapped... he continued to tell me that people will rewrap the product, yadda, yadda... and he can't resell the item as being new, yadda, yadda. His final suggestion was to sell on ebay. So, I'm stuck with $600 markers that I'm not sure I want.
Again, nothing wrong with the product/price, just make sure that what you order is really what you want.
